The health emergency triggered in 2020 as a result of the SARS-CoV-2 virus led to the Ars Innovatio Scientific Unit for Business Innovation of the University of Alicante, set up with the support of the Valencian Innovation Agency of the Generalitat Valenciana, to decide to contribute to fight the virus that causes COVID-19 disease.
On March 11, the multidisciplinary research team set to work on a solution that would attack the virus extracorporeally, while it is still in the environment, and preventively, before it infects people. The extra-corporal action allows to use resources of maximum forcefulness when the virus has more reduced its infectivity.
During the following months, work was carried out on the development of a device for ozonating the air contained in a volume that is part of a circuit through which air flows, in order to purify said flow, for use as respiratory equipment for personal use or for cleaning the air of a place, using digital configuration and regulation technology capable of supporting its use as equipment under the wearable and internet of things (IoT) paradigms.
This path undertaken had two important milestones at the beginning of July of this year 2020. The first, the registration of a national patent and European application referring to the technology developed. The second, the creation of a Technology-Based Company (EBT), Inno3 Sustainable Technologies, s.l., owned by the University of Alicante Science Park Foundation.
At present, Inno3 has developed several product lines related to the comfort and quality of life of people.
Inno3 develops technologies for people.
We are a multidisciplinary technology generator company. Our aim is to design our own new and innovative technology based on the AI and IoT paradigm from its inception to a TRL-9 maturity level, bringing it to the market through business partners capable of manufacturing and marketing it.
